The Legnica Special Economic Zone is located to the southwest of Poland, in the Legnica region. The Zone's area of 416.73 ha is divided into eight subzones:  Legnica (55.07 ha), Krzywa (154.45 ha), Legnickie Pole (48.77 ha), Złotoryja (27.95 ha), Polkowice (87.632 ha), Lubin (27.83 ha) Środa Śląska (16.46 ha) and Chojnów (6. 4766 ha).

Currently the territory of the LSEZ has been developed to 66.97%.

The Zone is situated very conveniently in geographic terms. It is located at the centre of Europe and has access to a good communications network. The Zone is located in the vicinity of the A4 motorway (connecting the European Union and the former Soviet Union countries) and national road No. 3 (E65), connecting the Polish Coast with Scandinavia and Southern Europe. There are three airports close to the Zone area: the Wrocław International Airport (70 km away) and the local airport in Legnica, with a 1,600 metre-long runaway designed for business planes, and alco in Lubin. A passenger and freight railway line is also available.
