The Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK MIELEC was established in 1995  as the first special economic zone in Poland. Today it takes a significant place on the economic map of  Poland. Its advantages are appreciated by many domestic and foreign investors who have set - up their new  manufacturing within the Zone. SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC is an area with unique conditions for the quick returns of investments and the effective operation of business activity without compromises on product quality, also offering long term tax relief and other preferences.

Located to the south – east of Poland EURO-PARK MIELEC captures emerging eastern markets and offers lower costs of manufacturing operations. The zone is managed by the Industrial Development Agency Joint Stock Company – an active and reliable partner of the government in the process of transforming the Polish economy.

Total area of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC is 926 ha. The Zone is situated at 17 locations in  south eastern Poland. The composition of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC includes regions located in the Sub-zones: Mielec - 604,5 ha, Lublin - 70,1 ha, Dębica - 26,1 ha, Municipality Dębica - 8,3 ha, Municipality Głogów Małopolski - 38,1 ha, Municipality Trzebownisko - 42,8 ha, Leżajsk - 5,3 ha, Municipality Leżajsk - 48,2 ha, Ropczyce - 12,3 ha, Municipality Ostrów - 4 ha, Gorlice - 21,1 ha, Lubaczów - 9,2, Jarosław - 6,4 ha, Municipality Jarosław - 9,7 ha, Municipality Laszki - 4,4 ha, Sanok - 4,2 ha, Zagórz - 11,3 ha. EURO-PARK MIELEC still offers land free for green field and brown field investments:

So far SEZ EURO - PARK MIELEC issued 70 permits for business activity in the SEZ, which resulted in the investments of PLN 3.0 billion and 12,121 new jobs (as of 30.09.2007).
