How would you assess Poland’s investment attractiveness? Is Poland a good destination for greenfield investment?
"Whenever I happen to be asked by foreign journalists if it pays to invest in Poland, I always give the same answer: Poland is the best investment destination. Poland’s perfect location, in the very centre of Europe, the country’s robust development, lower production costs when compared to the West of Europe are elements that can hardly be underestimated by a prospective investor. The fact that the Foreign Direct Investment inflow to Poland in the last year reached 13 billion EUR testifies to the fact that Poland does have a big potential in attracting foreign investment."

FDI on the increase in Poland
Poland and Romania result to be the only two new EU member states to witness increase in FDI inflow this year - states a report prepared by the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies.
The report suggests that after several-year increase in FDI inflow to the region, the tendency may begin to ease off. In fact, only Poland, Romania, Macedonia and Albania may count, according to the Institute’s forecasts, on the increase in FDI inflow. more...

THE GOLDEN SITES 2008
In May 2008 began the third edition of the nationwide contest The Golden Sites aiming at promoting investment plots in Poland. In August the contest enters the second and final phase when the best 16 lots, one from each vivodship, are to be selected. The laureates are to be given a unique chance to promote their commune. The most outstanding offers are to be promoted by PAIiIZ. The event comes under the honorary patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Economy, Mr Waldemar Pawlak. more...  |
