Think global, Go global - the FinTech & InsurTech Digital Congress

The increasing pace of innovation and technological development has made modern organizations function in an extremely competitive and unpredictable environment of the global market. The greatest value is the ability to adapt flexibly to the changing environment. It becomes necessary to take advantage of the opportunities in the business environment. To effectively use the potential of a rapidly growing market, you need to educate your employees so that they are not afraid of automation, digitization and robotization, and then introduce modern solutions to business practices. A company that is open to change will also have to reformulate its organizational culture, adapting it to new, prevailing principles. It is a complex, important challenge, which will be faced by the FinTech & InsurTech Digital Congress, which will take place November 13-14, 2018, at The Westin Warsaw Hotel in Warsaw.
Pursuing trends

The must have of the insurance market is definitely an offline world. Acquiring a digital client is a challenge for many industries. The answer to the client's conviction, which has already lost confidence in insurance companies, may be multi-channeling. It will also help change the formula from long-term contracts for short-term insurance. Consumer needs are also forced by previously unproduced products such as insurance for pregnant women. Speakers will discuss these issues, presenting the problem from an international perspective. During the 4th InsurTech Digital Congress, there will also be business use cases that illustrate specific examples of tools used in modern organizations. AI, machine learning and  voice recognition are the blessings of today's times that help overcome competition in the fight for the client. The Bot recognizing the damage not only shortens the time of its liquidation, but increases the satisfaction and commitment of the client who can report the problem at any time through the communicator. Drones are also used in estimating damage. Modern solutions allow you to see more and meet the needs of the client, accustomed to modern technological achievements. The modern market for medical services has been revolutionized by telemedicine and MedTech, thanks to which the patient has easier access to medical care than ever before. The scope of basic health insurance has significantly expanded, taking the form of patient-centeredness. Trends in InsurTech have also affected classic life insurance. The amount of the rate now has an impact on the client's lifestyle, his physical activity, and even the contribution he makes to environmental protection.

Area for investors

2018 is marked by increased investment transactions. It is investments that drive the business and are a determinant of development. In order for such ventures to have a chance to exist, a partnership between people with capital and young startups is needed. Should a traditional financial company cooperate well with fintechs, a moderator is needed to listen to mutual arguments and come to an agreement? The V FinTech Digital Congress came out against this challenge. The current situation is about 200 fintechs for 5-6 largest banks in Poland, which have the opportunity to invest in new technologies. This means that many developmental, future ideas may not survive due to the lack of opportunities to exist in business. The solution is to create a place where investors will present their needs and expectations and clearly define what conditions must be met by the start-up so that it will gain their interest. On the other hand, there is a need for space for young companies to find out where to go for initial capital and how to present their idea so that it arouses the interest of the investor. Disproportion is also visible between fintechs which are characterized by flexibility, agility, unconventionality and creativity, and customers who are still attached to tradition and are afraid of change. It is the investor who should choose which modern solutions, in their opinion, consumers are prepared for. Applications for the future need to be sought abroad, which is why international experts will participate in the Congress. It is from the most developed markets of the European Union that examples of specific solutions are needed. During the Congress, there will be no success stories, which will give examples of successful negotiation rounds ended with the establishment of cooperation.

FinTech & InsurTech Digital Congress is a platform for the exchange of experience of key experts from Poland and abroad, where technology meets the financial sector - There is no other place where you can learn in a nutshell what has recently happened in the field of fintech and insurtech, so what is worth focusing on in the future - says Anna Streżyńska, CEO, MC2 Solutions, former Minister of Digitization. The spring edition of the event brought together over 700 participants who could listen to the most outstanding authorities of the industry, including: Sonia Wędrychowicz-Horbatowska, Zbigniew Jagiełło, Tomasz Czechowicz, Janusz Cieszyński, Frank Genheimer, Agnieszka Wrońska, Laurent Nizri, Ewa Wernerowicz, James Hickson, Tal Sharon , Paul Ferris, Wojciech Sass, Adam Rozwadowski and Szymon Wałach. This time it will also be an opportunity to meet the pioneers of implementing modern technologies in business, who will show how to adapt to the changing trends in the FinTech and InsurTech sectors.
