Grant Thornton PAIiIZ HSBC

The investment climate in Poland has never been so good, reports investors surveyed by PAIiIZ, Grant Thornton and HSBC. This year’s result is the best in the 10 years, since the “Investment climate report” has been issued. Moreover, 2/5 investors defines Plan for the Responsible Development as a new opportunity for their business in Poland.

The survey shows that among the biggest investment advantages of Poland, there are: the size of internal market, economic stability and high quality of human capital. On the other hand, the labour cost in the country gets less importance, according to the companies.

“Foreign investors pay much attention to the macroeconomic stability of Poland, while Polish companies underestimate that factor. This different approach derives from different experience. Recently, foreign companies had to face with the economic crisis in their domestic markets. So now, they are interested in locating their business in the country that offers a safe environment for their business and a high chance for long-term development”, argued head of PAIiIZ, Tomasz Pisula.

The report is based on surveys conducted among over hundred companies with foreign capital active in the Poland. (PAIiIZ)
