PAIH present at Impact'22
One of the most important business congresses - Impact'22 - is behind us. The event took place in Poznań on 11-12th May of this year. In this year's Congress, experts, scientists, entrepreneurs and representatives of Government Administration discussed the most important challenges facing the Polish and European economy. On behalf of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the event was attended by, among others, Chairman Krzysztof Drynda and PAIH Board Member Grzegorz Słomkowski.

... opening of the first Business Advisory Center Diia.Business abroad
In Warsaw, the Business Advisory Center for Ukrainians Diia.Business started its activity. From the first days of the centre's operation, every Ukraine citizen in Poland will be able to take advantage of free professional consultations on, among other things, employment on the territory of the Poland. Diia.Business was launched by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Office of the Government Plenipotentiary for Cybersecurity in cooperation with Mastercard.

... PAIH’s participation in the "Pearl" of Local Government Congress
The "Pearl" of Local Government Congress has ended. The event took place in Gdynia on 18-19th May of this year. This year's Congress gathered both representatives of the public and private sectors - representatives of business, State institutions and Local Government officials. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency was represented by, among others, Member of the Management Board Zdzisław Sokal.

The role and specialization of PAIH is to support Polish entrepreneurs intheir international activities. Currently, such support is also needed by companies relocating from the areas affected by hostilities in Ukraine. I am glad that we can participate in the Diia.Business Centre project together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Development and Technology. Thanks to this, Ukrainian companies can maintain business continuity and thus minimize the impact of the war on the Ukrainian economy.

What's new in business
A Cooperation Agreement with FinTech Poland
PAIH and the FinTech Poland Foundation have signed a Cooperation Agreement. The document concluded on 29th April of this year will enable the transfer of expert knowledge between organizations and joint activities aimed at promoting Polish entrepreneurs operating in the fintech sector abroad. On behalf of PAIH, the agreement was signed by Members of the Management Board Grzegorz Słomkowski and Zdzisław Sokal, and the FinTech Poland Foundation was represented by the President of the Management Board Paweł Widawski.
An agreement between the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency
The Polish Financial Supervision Authority and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency have concluded a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by the Deputy Chairman of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority Marcin Mikołajczyk and the Chairman of the Management Board Krzysztof Drynda and Member of the Management Board Zdzisław Sokal representing PAIH.

The aim of the Competition is to select 50 innovative companies offering innovative solutions and products. Participation in SLINGSHOT 2022 is an opportunity to establish business contacts and appear on the Singapore market. The winning companies will also be invited to the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology conference. The trip to Singapore and participation in SWITCH 2022 will be fully financed by the organizers of the Competition. The total prize pool is USD 800,000 US.
