Polish companies in new markets. Another international contracts signed

Although today the eyes of the world are turned to the United Arab Emirates and the largest economic event in the world - the Expo 2020 exhibition in Dubai, Polish entrepreneurs prove that in the era of a pandemic, foreign expansion is possible not only on distant markets, but also on the demanding and competitive European market.

Contract

The recent successes of Polish companies supported by the PAIH office in Budapest confirm that Europe remains a region that is still worth focusing on in terms of business development - in particular its central and southern part. The potential of this direction is evidenced, by systematically growing GDP and innovation of economies, open-minded and cooperative partners, but also the growing wealth of potential customers.

Opportunities taken

BOB Technika Światłowodowa, a company producing modern proctology equipment, has recently entered the Hungarian market thanks to the support of our experts. The company's activity is focused on the design, production and sale of medical devices based on optical fiber technology. As emphasized by the company owner, Stanisław Borkowski: "Our medical devices are unique in many respects. Especially the video rectoscope-anoscope is probably the only construction of this type in the world. We have a dominant position in the domestic market in this type of specialized devices".

On foreign markets, doctors trusted us, among other places in Italy, Ecuador, India, Slovenia and Latvia. We recently delivered the first kit to a clinic in Hungary where we plan to expand. We are also talking to representatives of the medical sector in several African countries - adds Andrzej Dryżba, head of the export department.

With the support of the PAIH office in Budapest, the Polish producer NOV-WELD Sp. z o.o. a Polish production company that produces MIG, TIG, PLASMA welding holders and CNC tables in a factory near Gdańsk.

The growing interest in the welding industry has prompted us to operate outside Poland. Today we deliver products to over 16 countries in Europe, including Hungary. Thanks to the PAIH office in Budapest, we were able to establish cooperation with three Hungarian companies. We are very pleased that our Hungarian contractors are interested in further distribution and sale of Spartus products. Their satisfaction motivates us and encourages us to continue operating on the Hungarian market - says Marietta Turała, head of the NOV-WELD export department.

We have also recorded successes of companies with Polish origin on the Croatian market. The debut of two Polish producers of toners and printer accessories: RAFCOM and ACTION S.A.

The Action Group is one of the leading European multi-distributors of IT and office equipment, as well as being a producer of consumables under its own brand Activejet and home products. We also offer a wide range of goods that sell well on e-commerce platforms. We were connected with the Croatian distributor by a common mission to provide high-quality products, which has allowed us to start our cooperation, which we hope to continue and become, together with our partners, an important link in trade in the world - said Sylwia Cieślak, Export Manager, ACTION S.A.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, supply chains for most goods from China have been disrupted. This has created new opportunities for Polish entrepreneurs, which we are trying - with the greatest possible efficiency - to use. Success of RAFCOM and ACTION S.A. is a good example of the measurable effects of our actions. On the Croatian market, these companies replaced Asian competitors by exporting toners and printer accessories. We have gained additional satisfaction by the fact that Polish enterprises more and more often export highly processed products with higher added value - says Marcin Karaskiewicz, head of PAIH’s office in Budapest, which also serves the Croatian market.

Networking on a wave

Behind us is the famous Stand Up Paddling World Championships organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF) in Balatonfüred, the Hungarian resort at Lake Balaton. The Polish brands that were presented on the Polish stand: NawiPoland, Anmur, SUP BASS, Trick Board, Surf Stick, Wipeout and Pakalolo.
