Smart home solutions can revolutionize UAE’s households

Poland’s Grenton has landed a deal with Kromtek Systems, one of the leading integrators in the Middle East. The firm’s expansion has been supported by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency’s office in Dubai.

Grenton is one of the leading designers and producers of innovative automation systems for buildings. The Grenton System is a unique completely hybrid system, combining wired and wireless connectivity to control different house devices responsible for lighting, cooling, heating, ventilation, blinds, garage door, alarm systems, AV & Multimedia systems and many more. The Cracow-based company has been operating successfully for over 8 years and is one of the leading companies in Europe. It has been recognized and awarded many times: in 2017 Grenton was nominated for the "Polish Innovation Award 2017" in the category: Innovative Company, and in 2018 received the Gold Medal at the International BUDMA Fair and the nomination for the "Teraz Polska" emblem. Grenton is also recognized by Berg Insight in the "Smart Homes and Home Automation" report, which analyzes the latest system solutions in Europe and North America.

Grenton has already entered Western Europe through 250 distributors and dealers. Just recently, the Polish manufacturer has signed a contract with Kromtek Systems, a distributor based in the UAE, to supply Grenton Smart Home System systems and modules for homes, villas, apartments and developed buildings. The contract confirms cooperation for a minimum of two years.

"The success that we can talk about now is the result of hard work and commitment of Grenton Team. I am glad that our activities have brought effects, and Grenton Smart Home platform has gained interest from companies and customers in the Middle East. The market of innovative building automation solutions is rapidly growing. We are currently talking about 22 million homes equipped with Smart Home systems, while in 2021 this number will increase to more than 80 million homes in Europe alone. Thanks to such solutions, we are able to, for example, control and radically reduce energy consumption by up to 30%, which is also part of the philosophy of Smart Cities" says Natalia Zimny, responsible for the development of Grenton in the Arab markets.

According to Shaji Joseph, Managing Director of Kromtek System, 2019 will be very busy: "We will carry out intensive marketing activities among people particularly interested in innovative solutions like architects and interior designers. The goal is to start direct sales of Grenton solutions in this region. We also plan monthly technical training for dealers and after-sales support to ensure that the system works properly and guarantee satisfaction with Grenton products."

According to Moneer Faour, the head of the Dubai trade office, the Agency supported Grenton since August. The company has presented its offer at IT (GITEX) and construction (Big5) trade shows to potential partners from the region.  "This important step was possible thanks to Grenton’s wise management and forward-thinking business strategy. The demand for smart home systems has been growing in the UAE, thus Grenton has entered the market in the right place at the right moment", Faour stresses.

The Dubai-based trade office has been operating since autumn 2017. So far, the office has responded to more than 500 inquiries of Polish companies and organized several promotional missions to Poland. It is also involved in Poland's participation at EXPO 2020 in Dubai.
