Polish companies at Shanghai Belt and Road Brand Expo

As many as 13 Poland-based food sector firms and amber jewellery producers took part in the first edition of Belt and Road Brand Expo in Shanghai. The Expo was attended by businessmen form 28 countries and was held from 8-10 of December.
Belt and Road initiative gives a huge opportunity for increasing Polish exports to China. Poland, as one of few European countries participated in the event – Andrzej Juchniewicz, head of PAIH Shanghai-based office stressed. He added that Polish amber jewellery is very popular in China, that is why the representation of the sector to the expo comprised of eight companies.

Belt and Road Brand Expo is organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai Sub-council(CCPIT Shanghai) and China Chamber of International Commerce Shanghai Chamber of Commerce(CCOIC Shanghai). The Expo was held in the purpose of enhancing international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, meeting people's higher demand in pursuit of a beautiful life, and illustrating the city sprit of Shanghai to be tolerant to diversity. The Expo is designed to showcase the most featured products and brilliant culture from countries along the Belt and Road route, including Poland, to promote the trade and communication in the world, and to offer people a feast of beautiful life by experiencing the exotic culture.
