The seminar is a result of a cooperation recently established by PAIH and the Cluster. PCOCE has asked the Agency to develop the solutions that will enable Polish companies to compete in the global market. In response, the Agency plans activities aimed at integrating the business offer of Polish construction sector dedicated to foreign markets."Polish construction sites are dominated by Western European companies from France or Spain, while Polish companies do not exist as general constructors in these countries”, Jan Mikołuszko, chief of PCOCE noted. The cluster is now focused on developing cooperation of Polish construction companies on foreign markets, as well as on internationalisation of the whole Polish construction industry.
The seminar was attended by the representatives of the companies affiliated to the Polish Development Found (PFR): BGK, TFI BGK, KUKE, PARP as well as by the Ministry of Economic Development. They presented the support offered of their institutions to construction companies planning to expand abroad.
Bartłomiej Pawlak: We can help in defining and removing the investment barriers for the industry. We also can offer vast range of support tools |
"Today we gathered all public companies operating within the Polish Development Found that can provide support services to the cluster", said Bartłomiej Pawlak, representative of the Management Board of BGK Nieruchomości. “PFR acts as the executor of the Responsible Development Plan, therefore it has an easy access to the government representatives. We can help in defining and removing the investment barriers for the industry. We also can offer vast range of support tools. But firstly, the expectation of the industry have to be specified and defined”, Pawlak explained.
"It's much easier to talk to foreign partners if you are a part of the group of large construction producers", said Tomasz Pisula. “We advise you to establish an identification system that would be common for all Polish construction products and services. Then everyone would know that an equipment comes from Poland, what means high quality”, Pisula added.
