Official visit of PAIiIZ to Japan

On the 12th and 13th of September Japan hosted an official visit of the representatives of Poland-Japan Economic Committee as well as Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. Mr. Marcin Kaszuba, the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Labour, accompanied the visit.

The visit included economic seminar presenting Polish economic potential and business environment for Japanese investors.


Polish official delegation to Japan

PAIiIZ was a co-organizer of the seminar and the meeting of Poland-Japan and Japan- Poland Economic Committee. The meeting was held in the Polish exhibition pavilion at Expo 2005 in Aichi. The Chairman of the two Committies awarded distinguished guests with Diplomas for significant input in development of Polish-Japanese relations. During the ceremony the Diplomas were given to:
  • Prof. Masatake Wada - Professor at Teikyo University of Tokyo, adviser to  Ministry of Economy and PAIiiZ (2002r.), author of many publications concerning Polish economy
  • Yoshihiro Noguchi - representative of LOT in Tokyo (30 years of experience)
  • Seiichi Hashimoto - representative of Mitsui in Poland, propagator and friend of Poland, distinguished by the Polish government for promoting Poland abroad
  • Andrzej Kowszyło - Director of Amipol Japan Ltd.,
  • Piotr Suszycki-Tanaka - Director of NCM Corp. (IT sector),
  • Jun Kitagawa - General Manager in Chubu Economic Corporation, actively promotes Poland on Japanese market.
  • Kurando Ogi -  Bank of Tokyo Mitsubichi in Warsaw, engaged in promoting Poland among Japanese firms. 
  • Masakatsu Kawakami - distinguished post-mortem, former General Manager of Toyota Tsucho Corp. in Warsaw, personally engaged in Toyota investment in Poland in 2001-2003.
