Further investments in Legnica Special Economic Zone24.11.2004Two German investors - Hoermann Legnica Sp. z o.o. and VOSS Automotive Polska Sp. z o.o. have started construction works related to launching production in the Legnica Special Economic Zone (LSEZ). The investments will allow creating at least 240 new jobs.

On 3 November 2004 Hoermann Legnica Sp. z o.o. carried out a groundbreaking ceremony of its new plant in Krzywa subzone of LSEZ. The investment, which value is estimated at EUR 10 million, will allow creating in total 90 new jobs by Q1 2009. The investments is located on a 100,000 sq.m. plot in Krzywa in Gromadka Commune. Manufacturing in the new facility will be commenced by end of the 2005.
Second investor, VOSS Automotive Polska Sp. z o.o. is already carrying out more advanced construction works on its plot in Legnickie Pole, which is also a part of Legnica SEZ. The firm will invest over EUR 5.5 million in the new production facility. At least 150 new jobs will be created until the end of 2008.

The plant will be located on a 45,000 sq.m. plot in Nowa Wie¶ Legnicka in Legnickie Pole Commune. VOSS will commence production in the new plant by the end of August 2005.
VOSS Holding GmbH + Co. KG sells its products to companies, such as DAF, DaimlerChrysler, IVECO, MAN, Navistar-International, Volvo Trucks, Delphi Automotive Systems, Visteon, Wabco and ZF.
