The first Polish-French Economic Forum will be held in December

On December 9, French and Polish representatives from the world of politics and business will gather in Kraków. Representatives of both countries will meet as part of the first Polish-French Economic Forum organized by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency together with the Ministry of Development and Technology and the Mouvement des enterprises de France (MEDEF).

The event will be devoted to Polish-French cooperation in the sectors of renewable energy sources, hydrogen and nuclear energy, as well as innovation and digital transformation in the economy. The Forum will be attended by representatives of leading Polish and French companies, research, Government and Local Government institutions and public institutions supporting business, as well as politicians from both countries.

Poland and France have had good economic relations for many years. France is one of our most important business partners and one of the countries to which we export the most. We want Polish-French trade to continue to grow and economic cooperation to develop faster and faster, which is why together with MEDEF we are organizing the Polish-French Economic Forum in December. It will be an expression of the desire for further joint development and closer cooperation - said Krzysztof Drynda, Chairman of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

The main theme of the event is to strengthen European resilience through Polish-French cooperation. The main thematic blocks will be cybersecurity and digital policy, as well as carbon neutrality and energy security. The event will also be an opportunity to establish new business contacts. As extensive networking s planned as part of the Forum.

The forum will be conducted in both Polish and French and simultaneous translation will be provided. The Forum’s partners are the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Paris, the Embassy of France in Warsaw, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in France and the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce in Poland. Media patron will be the daily Gazeta Prawna.
