The Warmia-Mazury Special Economic Zone, situated in the north-eastern region of Poland, covers an area of 838.9 ha. This area is made of 24 subzones located in the following towns and municipalities: Barczewo, Bartoszyce, Ciechanów, Dobre Miasto, Elbląg, Iława, Iłowo, Lidzbark Warmiński, Mława, Morąg, Mrągowo, Nidzica, Nowe Miasto Lubawskie, Olecko, Olsztyn, Olsztynek, Orzysz, Ostrołęka, Ostróda, Pasłęk, Pisz, Piecki, Szczytno and Wielbark. The Warmia-Mazury Special Economic Zone is established untill 31st of December 2020.

Grounds situated within the borders of W-M SEZ are intended for greenfield investments. Areas that we offer to investors are, to a large extent, equipped with utilities and conveniently located for transportation purposes. Railway reloading stations are operating in the vicinity of most subzones.

Continuously emerging new plants are an indication of the confidence which entrepreneurs place in us. The undisputed attractiveness of our investment areas, as well as actions conducted by W-M SSE S.A., resulted in the fact that on September 30, 2011, in the area of W-M SEZ:

  • 67 enterprises had valid Licences to conduct business activity;
  • 39 enterprises were conducting business activity;
  • the level of investment expenditures was PLN 3.2 billion;
  • over 6,424 new jobs had been created
