Mielec

The Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK MIELEC was established in 1995  as the first special economic zone in Poland. Today it takes a significant place on the economic map of  Poland. Its advantages are appreciated by many domestic and foreign investors who have set - up their new  manufacturing within the Zone. SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC is an area with unique conditions for the quick returns of investments and the effective operation of business activity without compromises on product quality, also offering long term tax relief and other preferences. Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK MIELEC is established until 31st of December 2020.

Located mostly to the south - east of Poland EURO-PARK MIELEC captures emerging eastern markets and offers lower costs of manufacturing operations. The zone is managed by the Industrial Development Agency Joint Stock Company - an active and reliable partner of the government in the process of transforming the Polish economy.

Total area of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC is 1135 ha. The Zone is situated at 22 locations in south eastern Poland. The composition of SSE EURO-PARK MIELEC includes regions located in the Sub-zones: Mielec - 605 ha, Gmina Głogów Małopolski, Gmina Trzebownisko i Rzeszów - 122 ha, Lublin - 118 ha, Leżajsk i Gmina Leżajsk - 27 ha, Dębica i Gmina Dębica - 35, Gorlice - 21 ha, Jarosław, Gmina Jarosław i Gmina Laszki - 20 ha, Ropczyce i Gmina Ostrów - 45 ha, Sanok i Zagórz - 15 ha, Lubaczów - 9 ha, Kolbuszowa - 8 ha, Radzyń Podlaski - 2 ha, Zamość - 35 ha, Szczecin - 73 ha.

So far SEZ EURO - PARK MIELEC issued 186 permits for conducting business activity in the SEZ, which resulted in the investments of over 4.2 billion PLN and over 11 953 new jobs (as of 30.06.2010).
