£ód¼ Special Economic Zone

£ód¼ region constitutes the area of 18, 219 sq. km. The number of residents is 2, 6 million (the sixth place in Poland). It determines the purchasing power valued at over 16 billion Euro. The industrial traditions have been supplemented by the latest technological solutions and supported by several dozen academic, scientific and research centres. Situated in the centre of Poland, at the junction of the main communication routes - highways A1 and A2 and expressways S-8 and S-14, the £ód¼ region has the most beneficial logistic location in Poland as well as in Europe. Investors operating in the LSEZ have already appreciated this fact. £ód¼ region is also an important railway junction - a new fast railroad Warsaw-Poznan-Berlin and Warsaw-Wroc³aw is currently under construction, while international air terminals (passenger and cargo) are situated in £ód¼ and £ask.

The investments in £ód¼ region offer companies a direct access to the markets of the European Union, at the same time constituting a perfect grounds for reaching the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Deciding to start business activity in the £ód¼ Special Economic Zone, investors obtain access to 265-million population, inhabiting the areas within one thousand kilometres radius from the borders of the Zone. £ód¼ Special Economic Zone is established until 31st of December 2020.
