Location
The SPNT is situated in the southern part of Sosnowiec at the former Niwka-Modrzejów coal mine, in the vicinity of Wojska Polskiego, Orląt Lwowskich and Powstańców streets. The park has a surface area of 11,8869 ha (eleven hectares, eight thousand, eight hundred and sixty nine square meters).
Sector profile
The Park’s sector profile will be established in accordance with its development, and with interested investors. At the current stage, the interest of pharmaceutical and IT companies is clearly noticeable.
What the Park offers

SPNT’s offer is addressed to innovative companies interested in locating their activities in a dynamically developing environment.

SPNT plans to provide innovative companies with premises in two buildings adapted to performance of their new functions in the 2nd quarter of 2011. The buildings’ structures ensures a high degree of flexibility when organising their space.

We have prepared documentation for the adaptation of one multi-storey building with a surface area of 7,213.85 m2. It will be divided into 14 modules with surfaces ranging from 191 m2 to 418 m2. Each module will contain areas assigned for production, research and development, and laboratory activities, as well as adequate administrative, social and warehouse areas. Should the need arise, it will be possible to connect individual modules in order to create larger surface areas adjusted to the investor’s individual needs.

Simultaneously to the above-mentioned works, documentation was prepared for the adaptation of the second, smaller building, with a surface of 1,382.96 m2. This building will be adapted to perform a new production and research function, as well as to meet the requirements imposed on industrial pharmaceutical premises. Due to the construction, size and layout of the premises, the building will accommodate only one innovative company.

Investments in SPNT are executed as part of the Key Project for the Silesia Region, co?financed under the Regional Operational Programme. Total investment expenditure for the adaptation of both buildings and the construction of road and accompanying technical infrastructure will amount to PLN 37,927,000. This sum may change (rise), due to the planned conclusion of the annexe.
Companies operating in the Park
At the current stage of the project’s execution, no companies have moved in to the adapted buildings. There exists only a list of potential investors interested in this location.
