Police Industrial Park - INFRAPARK Police

INFRAPARK Police S.A. is the company, that was established in the year 2004, aimed to manage with investment areas being the property of Police Industrial Park.

Infrapark within the scope of its activity provides investors with comprehensive services and technical infrastructure.

„Zaklady Chemiczne Police SA”, The Commune of Police, West Pomeranian Agency of Regional Development and the University of Szczecin are shareholders in INFRAPARK.

In the year 2008 INFRAPARK Police SA was awarded by FORBES as the most dynamically developing company in West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

POLICE INDUSTRIAL PARK started operating in July 2004. Currently it posses almost 150 ha of investment grounds. Investors can choose among lots of grounds with surface from 0.2 up to 15 ha.

Police Industrial Park is a unique investment area favourable to the development of difficult enterprises in conditions that are environment friendly.

Apart from the advantages related to the close proximity of a big chemical plant and the closeness of sea and barge ports, Police Park is attractive to potential investors thanks to its unique geographical location that facilitates transportation.

The attractiveness of location of Industrial Park Police:

  • Location: Western Pomeranian Province, in the vicinity of the city of Szczecin, nearby the town of Police.
  • Ideally located on the routes of road, water, rail and air traffic.
  • Direct connection with local roads, regional roads – 114, 115, national roads – 10 and international roads – A6 (E28) and 3 (E65).
  • Close proximity to Berlin (140 km from the Polish border) and to a ferry border crossing: both for passengers and cargo to Scandinavia (Swinoujscie, approx. 100 km.)
  • Well developed system of railways together with cargo railway station – “Police Chemia” and a possibility for further development of tracks in individual investment terrains together with the construction of railway sidings.
  • Direct access to Police Port (barge and sea port) and the closeness of deep-sea ports in Szczecin and Swinoujscie. Not far from an airport in Goleniow (approx. 60 km.)

Local Spatial Development Plan:

Areas of the Police Industrial Park are covered at 100% with the local zoning plan called "Zaklady" and "Stara fabryka". This plan provides for their areas industry spaces and related services, including disruptive industry, warehousing, storage, production, separate zones are designated for energy and internal roads. On these areas it is possible to locate wind turbines, but the investor is obliged to make environment arrangements enabling to place such notation in the local spatial development plan. The plan, however, preclude placing the food industry and food processing.   

Plan called "Stara fabryka" provides on these areas  unobtrusive service, manufacturing facilities, stocks and warehouses, and also green ecological landscape.

Infrastructure

Police Industrial Park, as the first among other industrial parks, acquired funds from European Union for the extend of technical infrastructure.

Mains electricity, access roads with lighting, sanitations were built within the investment Project of  total value above 41 milion PLN.

Areas of the Police Industrial Park possess following infrastructure:

  • electricity,
  • drinking water,
  • heat in form of water or steam,
  • sanitation with own sewage - farm,
  • chemical sanitation (sour),
  • sewage - farm,
  • dumping ground,
  • access roads,
  • telecommunication,
  • network,
  • extended trackage of side – railway stations
  • well – developed  monitoring system for environmental care,
  • chemical and fire rescue.

Communication

  • direct connections with voivodship roads no. 114 and 115,
  • connections with international and inland roads – A6, 3, 10.
  • Air connection is provided with an airport in Goleniow, placed ca. 60 kilometres from the center of Police,
  • Railway adapted to passanger and cargo traffic run across the areas of the Police Industrial Park,
  • Barge and seaport is operating within Z.Ch. Police. Seaport is situated 2 kilometres away from the areas of the Police Industrial Park, 20 kilometres away from seaport in Szczecin and ca. 30 kilometres from seaport in Swinoujscie.
  • Building of west bypass of Szczecin City and high over-water bridge above Odra River are predicted to be performed in order to improve communication in this area. According to spatial development schedule, the bypass should go ahead across areas of the Police Industrial Park.

Rate relief being in force on the areas of the Police Industrial Park amounts to 60% of the rate in the commune of Police.

  • Opportunity for taking advantage of rate relief according to created workplaces.
  • More than 10 hectares of areas in Police Industrial Park own status for Kostrzynsko-Slubicka Special Development Area. Investor has opportunity to obtain income tax relief, which amounts from 40% (for large companies) up to 60% (for smaller companies) of costs for aggravated investments or two years job expenses (costs, which refer to employment of a new workers).
