1. Who we are – Kalisz Technological Incubator

The project’s performer is Kalisz Business Incubator. It is is a non-governmental organisation. As a partner for the Local Government of Kalisz, the "Incubator" supports economic development and social welfare in the region. Nowadays we concentrate on promotion the new technology and innovation.

The Foundation has had excellent experience for more than 12 years.

The Incubator was set up by Kalisz Town Council in 1993 and registered in 1994 in Warsaw Local Court. The facilities of 5.800 sq. metres are managed by the Foundation in the centre of Kalisz. It employs  21 full-time workers as well as a number of permanent consultants, lecturers and volunteers.

There is a conference center which consists of conference room for 200 people, seminar and lecturer room, guest room and computer room-all with multimedia faciclities. The Incubator is a member of National system of Services for SME’s. We cooperate with European Comission – Euro Info Center project, Save Agnency project and many others like EC Initiative - INTERREG

2.The objective  / The object of activity

We are an organization, running one of the biggest Business Incubators in Poland.  The cooperation with universities, reaserch and development institutes gave us a graet opportunity to create the Technological Incubator.

Moreover our expertise and professionalism have been appreciated many times, for example, by the Minister of Regional Development who approved the creation of Technological Incubator in Kalisz in November 2006.  The value of this project is 2,47 milion PLN which is finansed from Structural Founds. The received recourses will allow to refurbish the Technological Incubator’s building and improve the standard of the office space. In 2007 we are going to continue with the second part of the project, with the resources of PLN 19,5 million, within the already approved project - RPO Wielkopolska. The main investment will include the improvement of the building standard and purchase of specialized equipment for the future technological enterprises located in the Incubator.

For the businesses cooperating with Technological Incubator located in Kalisz, Poland, ul. Częstochowska 25. we are offering 3,900m2  of usable floor area, located in the city center with a parking lot.

The premises are centrally heated, equipped with telephone lines and broadband Internet access. Also, the premises are monitored by a professional security company. The second floor features a conference center with air conditioned conference rooms, seating 200 people and seminar rooms, seating 40 people at attractive prices.

We offer really good prices for hiring space rooms in Incubator.
 

6. The services of Kalisz Technological Incubator

• services from Euro Info Center  (European Comission);   
• assistance in company promotion and cooperation with Polish and foreign entrepreneurs,
• assistance in registering and administrating a company and legal advice,
  

We would like to support local investments. The Town Council passed a resolution which offers allowances supporting new investors.

 We are here to support investors by using and implementing new technologies.
