The Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia (PSTP) was launched in 2001 as a joint initiative of the Pomeranian Center of Technology and the Municipality of Gdynia. Currently PSTP is managed by the City of Gdynia’s budgetary unit - Gdynia Innovation Centre. The PSTP Pomeranian Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator, appointed to cluster young and promising companies, has commenced its activity in the year 2004. At present PSTP serves as location for 130 innovative companies, among them 70 companies lease offices in the Park and 35 companies have singed e-partnership agreements. Our largest partners include: Progman, IVONA Software, FIDO Intelligence, MPL Techma, InteliWise, MADKOM, Flowair, MpicoSys, Telemobile Electronics. In addition, 24 entities supporting and creating innovation circulation, providing education and entrepreneurship oriented activities co-operate with PSTP.
The creation of PSTP Biotechnological Laboratory in the year 2005 was possible due to the financial assistance of Regional Environment Protection and Water Management Fund.

The ongoing construction of two new sectors of the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park (investment phases 3 and 4) - will enable the creation of a wider range of new, innovation implementation supporting spaces and services to a larger number of entities. In 2012 the PSTP spaces and structures will increase by 6 times, thanks to current financial engagement of the City of Gdynia and resources of EU (PO IG and RPO WP Operational Programs).
