Innovative glow-in-the-dark cycle lane in Poland
Located in the north of Poland, Lidzbark Warmiński has new touristic attraction. This is glow-in-the-dark cycle lane designed by TPA Pruszków laboratory that glows thanks to new phosphor technology.

Source: Zarząd Dróg Wojewódzkich in Olsztyn, author: M. Bojarowicz

Powered entirely by the sun, the cycle lane collects the sun light all day long to give it back as a blue glow in the night. This effect is made thanks to special aggregate that covers the lane. Besides saving energy, the advantage of this solution is a significant improvement in driving safety at night. It is worth noting that the path glows a blue light to refer to the colour of the Mazury lakes that are close to the lane. TPA Pruszków laboratory is also working on fragrance asphalt.
