POLISH - FINNISH ECONOMIC COOPERATION New challenges, new opportunities
Helsinki, June 15, 2006
An investment seminar entitled „Polish-Finnish Economic Seminar – New challenges, new opportunities” took place on the 15th of June 2006 in Helsinki. The aim of the seminar was to present Poland as a modern country with huge economic and intellectual potential, an economic partner for Finland in the light of common EU market and a place of friendly investment climate.
Polish Minister of Economy, Piotr Grzegorz Wo¼niak, Vice President of PAIiIZ, Wojciech Szel±gowski, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Helsinki, Andrzej Szynka, The Finnish Prime Minister’s Office representative, Maarit Lindström and representatives of companies such as: Exportum Ltd Unifin Oy, Helkama Oy, Nordic Investment Bank, Uusimaa Regional Council, Mäkitalo Rämö & Co, Biolit Oyj and Suomi-Puola Yhdistysten Liitto took part in the seminar.
Discussion during the seminar was mainly related to future cooperation between Poland and Finland and the advantages and opportunities awaiting new investors entering Polish market.
