ANALYSES AND REPORTS

OECD about Polish economy
OECD published the survey on Polish economy. It underlines the tremendous progres Poland made toward convergence with higher-income countries over the past two decades, but also points out the challenges remaining to, strengthen employment and job quality, improve the business environment and boost infrastructure, as well as  ensure sound public finances. The publication of survey marks the 20th anniversary since Poland joined the OECD.

Further investments in infrastructure, improving the business environment, a broad tax reform, but primarily focus on advanced technologies will be essential to sustain a continuing improvement in living standards, environmental quality and well-being, according to the latest OECD Economic Survey of Poland.

As the experts argue, the transition to high technologies will contribute to not only faster growth but also pro-ecological processes. The OECD also recommends increased of investment in education, including focusing on the development of vocational education in the workplace and the implementation of programs activating women in the labour market.
