„Grand Innovation” minor act
Act of minor innovation is the Ministry of Education recipe for low innovation of Polish economy and a way to to leave the middle growth trap. A set of tax and formal simplification instruments prepared by the Ministry has just been approved by the Council of Ministers.

One of the Ministry of Education priorities is innovation growth, in other words creating consistent system of options encouraging to perform innovative actions. To encourage scientists to commercialize their research results, an act drops the income tax from intellectual contribution brought to the company.

Small and middle-size companies will be able to deduct the costs of acquiring patents off the tax. Apart from this, entrepreneuts will be allowed to deduct the B+R activity costs for six years instead of three.
In European innovations rankings Poland is classed as moderate innowator, however the distance between our country and European leading countries is still very big.
