Polish-Nigerian cooperation - the gaining momentum

The Nigerian delegation visiting Poland consists of the representatives of Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Steel Raw Materials Exploration Agency, the Council for Renewable Energy Nigeria, Chemtech Group and the Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office.

Nigeria is the second largest economy in Africa. Poland exports mainly grain, motor vehicles, car parts and accessories to Nigeria. Both countries continue the cooperation in the defence industry. The Nigerian army bought Beryl rifles from the Weapon Factory Łucznik-Radom.

The Nigerian market creates opportunities for Polish companies from mining, energy IT sector (coal mines, coal power plants, power lines, refurbishment of existing power plants, use of biomass and biofuels), as well as marine, agri-food and defense sectors. (PAIH)
