IAC enters Opole

International Automotive Components (IAC) has chosen Opole to build a factory of car cockpits there. The estimated value of the investment reaches $20 m.

On 7 September, the ground-breaking ceremony has been held. It gathered representatives of the investors and local authorities. Krzysztof Senger, the Member of the Board of Polish Investment and Trade Agency that supported the investment, also joined the event.

The company’s new facility in Opole will be the 27 th manufacturing centre in Europe. A premium, hand-made elements of car cockpits will be produced there by 550 new employees. Also several different car parts can be manufactured in Opole, supporting the production processes in other plants owned by the company located in the distance of 100-450 km from Opole.
